....The Glittering Prize....
......retained for me here by one of the Lovely Stewards of the recent Trelawynd Flower Show, which you may remember me mentioning in my last post. Well, you could have knocked me down with the proverbial feather when I received the email from my bloggy friend John letting me know that not only had one of my entries (Angela might recognise it, she has one similar!) won a FIRST in its class....
...(see, it says 'FIRST'!)... but both entries (the other being a knitted cowl) had won FIRSTS and because of this, I won the Rowenna Wrigley Cup!!!!I can't believe it! I honestly entered my stuff just to help The Flower Show out, since John was appealing for more entries and never guessed for a minute I would come anywhere near winning anything, let alone that gorgeous prize! So a HUGE Thank You to John for letting me be an entrant in the Show and for organising what looked like a really special day for everyone. I've joked to him that I might attend in person next year, just to be sure of retaining my Coveted Cup!....well I think I was joking!!!

So glad you're finally getting some warm weather.
My sister and her hubby arrived in Edinburgh yesterday for the start of the 5 week hol. So I know they'll appreciate some fine weather after leaving our Winer.....
