Day Two......tentatively unfurling her precious petals.....
Day Three.....no qualms about bursting into full bloom and showing off just how beautiful she really is...
I think it's safe to say, she's definitely got the 'X' Factor!

How does your garden grow?
It's good to be outside, isn't it?

I do like peonies, yours is very pretty x
ReplyDeleteIt is good to see the beauty each day, watching miracles unfold. My peony for my thought is that we sometimes overlook the graces with which our lives are blessed. You are on the lookout for those benevolence, a wonderful thing.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos as the flower unfurls. Such beautiful colours and shapes. My garden is still a little neglected- people keep telling me 'do nothing for 6 months till you know what is growing there' - my answer - many weeds. We are keeping the grass trimmed [just about] Some lovely shrubs though - ceanothus, camellia, forsythia - and a lilac tree,. Plus some spring bulbs. We have a raised bed- which is in entirely the wrong place. Post-daughter's-wedding there are plans afoot to move that. Maybe!
ReplyDeleteI am just enjoying my blogfriends beautiful gardens!! blessings xx
That is very pretty. Loads of wildflowers around here but no garden flowers apart from rosebuds which look promising
ReplyDeleteSo stunning!!!! You must be amazed every time you look at that gorgeous bloom.
