......it can look really pretty at times, especially during the Festive Season (but not particularly on a cold, grey, dreich, November day!) so a gentle reminder of just how special it can be, from a few weeks ago when we visited Auld Reekie to take in the Yuletide Vibe.....
....culminating in a prom along the latest phenomenon at Christmas Time, the 'Street of Light'.....
...you stroll under the archways while Christmas Carols ring out from the vocal chords of an angelic choir.....
.....then a pit stop at a particularly nice hotel for a wee dram...or three....for those in the company who partake of the devil's brew, of course!
...and that's your lot for an Edinburgh Christmas 2016. Same time next year, hopefully!!

Lovely photos, we have good friends who live just outside Edinburgh. It's been a few years since we have been there and never at Christmas. I think maybe I should put it on my list x

ReplyDeleteMost of the lights are quite intricate designs, they must take hours to set up. It's all very beautiful.
