| Wednesday is Library Day with the Principessas. It's our weekly ritual, even though our books get stamped out for three weeks at a time! |
anyway, I chose this book because it had some nice angels in it,(though mine won't be slopping around in their dressing gowns all day!) like the ones my friend, Julie in Oz makes with such professionalism and precision. I'm not pretending that I can reach that level but I'm going to give them a good try. I particularly loved her latest make, a beautiful
Christmas Angel so with that in mind,I set about copying,tracing, glueing and cutting with abandon until I had all the bits I needed. Now it's just a matter of finding the time and proper materials to make my own version, hopefully for THIS Christmas!

Here is the leader of the knitting group being interviewed. It was a gloriously sunny day, if a little cold.
The poppies looked spectacular at night time when the church is lit up. I shall try and get a pic soon.

Gnomes! My sister asked for them for her Christmas mantlepiece. I was happy to oblige, even though they look a little odd!!

That sideways picture of the Tilda doll is exactly what their faces/heads do look like but once stuffed they come to life so don't worry too much. I sold that beautiful christmas angel at the craft fair yesterday ... went to a lovely lady that does her big house up for christmas. I have to say - your gnomes are just

DeleteFirst of all I love your new header with the mercury glass! Your photos of moon and sky are awesome. Those dolls look like Tilda's creations and I love them. The poppies are so beautiful and such a great reminder "lest we forget"! I can't wait to see your angle and the gnomes are simply precious!
