Up, Up and Away..........

Hello, Old Friends, it's been a while!

It was the perfect day to fly some kites yesterday so off we took ourselves to the Annual Kite Festival hosted at the local Museum of Flight ......

...and a colourful spectacle it was too.
We saw some flying dinosaurs.....

and Dads teaching their Daughters how to fly their pretty kites......

.....and some fearsome-looking dragons took to the skies too! ... best viewed through some snazzy looking shades!

.....then it was time for our favourite Dalmatian puppy (toy!) to attempt a parachute jump...so he was carefully strapped into his harness and off he flew...
...so quickly that the photographer hardly had time to focus her camera on him but he made the perfect landing!
*****
Since the price of the admission ticket entitled us to entry into the Museum of Flight, we took full advantage and ventured into one of the largest hangars, only to find...

a very large airplane - do you know which one?

I'll tell you later....
